Process Sensors Corporation Transmitters are
used routinely in the mineral drying process.
Generally, the Transmitter is located over
a moving conveyor, usually at a distance of
about 12 inches from the product. Often the
Transmitter will be located out of doors and
will be exposed to the elements. Therefore,
it is important to use a NEMA enclosure and
to ensure that the Transmitter is protected
from the direct sun and rain.
Calibrations for most minerals have already
been determined by Process Sensors Corporation
so that the Transmitter is delivered pre-calibrated.
